Come In My Fort!

Pumpkin Pickin'

We went back to Berry Patch Farms this year for more pumpkin fun. Beckham was a bit of a pill, but we were able to get a few smiles out of him. He was fascinated with the tractor again this year and was so excited to sit on the old red one and get his picture taken. Good times!

Potty Training = New Sandbox

We made a deal with Beckham a while back that as soon as he poops on the potty, he could get a sandbox. Well, the day has finally come! Hooray!! Now, if we could just get him there every time. . .

Go Pens!

Ah, yes. Hockey season is upon us. And if the Pens play their cards right, Scott will be sporting a beard again next spring. Go Pens!
(Scott is wearing his new Brooks Orpik jersey- Brooks' namesake)

Our Newest Endeavour

Thank you to our neighbor, Shari, who told us all about http://farmersmarketbaskets.com
This co-op type organization puts together giant baskets full of fruit and vegetables which we pick up every Thursday for the low cost of $15. We have been doing it for about a month now and have absolutely loved it! It is amazing to me how much fresh food $15 buys.

The Circle of Life

As with all things, toys have a circle of life. We are already having to cycle out some of Brooks' baby toys in exchange for more active toys like this saucer/walker. So far we've said goodbye to the floor mat, the swings, and the bumbo. He's hysterical to watch when he plays with the keyboard on the saucer. I think he might actually have some rhythm! This white boy can dance!

Welcome, Autumn!

Fall is upon us which means decorating with all things brown, orange, red, and yellow (which just happens to be a majority of my home decor year-round). We've had fun celebrating the season by painting some fall art and collecting colorful leaves on our walks. I LOVE this time of year! I only wish it lasted longer.
