Happy Daddy's Day

Father's Day started a week early for us this year. We celebrated Tim's birthday and Father's Day on June 14th with a delicious lunch at Papadeaux's and some of Amanda's fine baking. Since everyone ventured to Pittsburgh (except us) over Father's Day, we spent the day just the three of us, hanging out and enjoying some Provino's. Scott was thrilled with his new smoker, with which we plan to make some scrumptious BBQ this week!

The Little Prince behaved so well when we went out to dinner! He flirted with everyone in sight, ate everything put in front of him, and never once whined. What an angel!

What Summer Is All About

What a fun day! Yesterday Beckham and I drove over to my sisters for some free summer activities. We went to movies and saw Charlotte's Web (for free). We even brought our own snacks and drinks :) Then we headed back to her house and turned on the sprinkler. Of course, Beckham had to spend some time playing in the "fort". . . When we got home we played outside some more and Grammy came over after work. Beckham actually performed and showed her all of his body parts. After she left he started saying "Gammy". Then, while putting him to bed, I heard him saying "fo, fibe, sis, seben, eight". I think my mouth fell open! I asked him if he was counting and he said "count". So I said "one, two, three" and he took it from there! I'm still in awe. He's been counting things all day!!

Uncle Brando

Uncle Brando stayed the night with us Friday and Saturday. Beckham couldn't have been more excited! I think Brandon heard his name at least 1000 times this weekend. On Saturday, we tried to venture to the pool, but since some little person had gone potty in the pool, we detoured to the park instead. . .

After dinner, Scott took the boys for ice cream and rented a movie (Brandon's pick). We had such a good time with Brando this weekend!

Lord Stanley's Cup

After White Water, Brandon and Amanda came back to our house to "feast on wings" and watch the Pens destroy the Red Wings. As the fate of the Pittsburgh Penguins lied in the hands of Scott's facial hair, and since he successfully grew said hair, the Penguins made it to game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals and won! The following is the progressive removal of the hair. . .

White Water

On Friday, we met Brandon and Amanda at White Water for some fun in the sun. We took Beckham to the kiddy area while Brandon and Amanda hit the water slides, then met up for lunch. We played a little longer, then Beckham and I headed home for a nap. Daddy stayed behind with the others for some fun on "big boy rides".

Zoo Atlanta

Scott took some days off work last week to spend as a family, so we made the most of them. On Thursday, we went to Zoo Atlanta for the first time. We had an amazing time and really got to see some cool things. . . An ode to Willie B.
