St. Augustine Beach 2009

Scott and I joined the family for the annual trip to St. Augustine last week. We got there on Sunday and had a great time. The family had fun coming to the realization why Beckham sleeps so much (because he never stops moving or talking). Beckham enjoyed the beach, especially at night. He was such a dream child to take on a trip. He only really showed out on the first night (he was bored of sitting all day) and the last night (he was ready to go home). Scott and I even got away for a few hours one day to buy some wine and look in the stores.

Haircut Torture

I decided to experiment with buzzing Beckham's head at home today. I've tried cutting with scissors before, which was a nightmare and turned out really choppy. I took a few tips from Harrison's mommy, Katie, and made an attempt. Here goes. . . Totally unaware of what's about to happen
I think he only ate one bite of Gogurt before he realized how mad he was.
Notice the snot and drool hanging from his face.
After a shower to rinse off and a promise of a wagon ride, he helped me sweep up the mess I made. Not so bad, huh? It's better than paying $20 for someone else to give him a crappy haircut, and then leave embarrassed by his outburst.

Ice Cream & Martinis

We travelled down to Austell last Sunday to eat ice cream and play Apples to Apples at Tara's house. Katie and I brought Beckham and Harrison to provide entertainment for all. . . This is Beckham refusing to sit still in Tara's lap
Harrison jumped up to join us for a girl's shot
Harrison is really only 2-1/2 months older!
Okay, Bye-bye.
