Here Comes Peter Cotton-Tail

Easter was wonderful this year! On Saturday, the Easter Bunny visited our neighborhood for an Easter Egg Hunt (which we didn't participate in), so we mozied on down and got Beck's picture made with him. On Sunday, we went to mass at St. Catherine's and sat in the cry room. Needless to say, we didn't get to hear or see a whole lot of the mass, but it was nice just dressing up and making it to church for a change. Then we packed up the car and headed to Grandma and Grandpap's in Snellville. That Easter Bunny is SOOOO smart! He knew we wouldn't be celebrating Easter at home, so he had Beckham's basket waiting for us at Grandma and Grandpap's. Go figure!! He absolutely loved his gifts- especially the bib. He just had to put it on right away. We had a beautiful ham with the works for dinner and enjoyed spending time with family.

Crumblin' Herb

So, Scott has developed a new source of income and wanted to share with any of you who are interested. . .

CSM by day, herb-sellin' street junky by night.

The reality is, this package was delivered to Scott's office today with a receipt in the box reading "bamboo picture frame". The herbs were under layers of bubblewrap that had been doused in Windex to eliminate the smell.

Scott took this as a calling from the Lord. He is willing to be His humble servant and make mad cash. You've got his number if you're interested.

What's that yellow stain?

Everybody knows that babies are adorable, right? And who can resist their chubby cheeks? I mean the ones down below. . . Look at them. They're precious. So, I'm at work and I get a phone call from Scotty. He had been doing a nude photo shoot with our son, the results of which was a giant yellow stain in the middle of our feather comforter. $25 later, we have a clean comforter and the most precious nude pics a mommy and daddy could hope for!

Milk & Cereal; Cereal & Milk

Okay, so I totally renigged on the whole "no cereal until he's five months" deal. The munchkin wanted more, so he got more! And oh, how he loves it. . . Oh, by the way, these pictures were taken within days of his 4 month check-up.

Hunka Chunka

This boy will not stop growing! He was wearing 3-6 month clothes at 1 month and 6-9 month clothes at 3 months! He is almost in his 9-12 month clothes!!! We went to the pediatrician Tuesday for his 4 month check-up and shots. He weighed a whopping 17 pounds, 2.9 ounces as you can see. He is 26-1/4 inches long (in the 90th percentile all around yet again). Though his grandpap swears he needs cereal, the doctor says to wait until he is 5 months. Could you imagine carrying around this sack of potatos if he was eating cereal? Heavens to Betsy!

Playtime

So Beckham is at an absolutely adorable stage where he wants to play with everything. If he is not grabbing, hitting, or pulling something, then it is in his mouth. He loves to play on his back and can now scoot from one side of the living room to the other. He also loves to play on his tummy, though. He's not quite sure why he can't get places like he can on his back, though he gives it his darndest attempt. He's not quite rolling over (which is not an easy task considering the belly on this guy!). He has started laughing when you tickle him and Annelies learned that when you say "Boobyboobybooby" he cracks up. He loves standing, but is not quite sure about his Johnny Jumper yet. He really enjoys swinging and sitting in his Bumbo. What a fun age!!
