Where did August go?

Well, the last post I wrote was from Beckham's 9-month appt at the beginning of August. We have had a month full of exciting events that we have shared with friends and family. Grandma Helen turned 82 this month, Beckham's best bud Harrison turned 1, Beckham got his two top teeth, and he has kept Scott and I thoroughly entertained by the new things he can do (and get into).Katie & Harrison posing with Beckham & I at Harrison's birthday party
Harrison is wearing PGA Master's overalls and Beckham is looking like Zoolander
He loves to open the entertainment unit and pull things out
He likes to bang on the stereo
He loves to shut himself in our closet and play
And he loves to play in the bathroom!!
Other things going on in Beckham's world: he says "Dadadada and Yayayaya" but never "Mamamama". He stands up in his bed and bangs his little body against the rails and either screams or squeels depending on his mood. He will play in his crib for 30 minutes before passing out in what ever position he was in last. He opens and closes any door he can figure out. He eats off of our plates, and much to our chagrin, will yell if he wants more and we are not fast enough. He plays with the window blinds, banging them together to make noise or hiding behind them. He enjoys playing the piano and guitar. He absolutely loves playing in the dog's water dish. And he almost always falls asleep in the car (whether its naptime or not). So, there you are for a little insight into the world of Beckham. The countdown is on for the little guy to start walking. He pulls up, cruises, holds hands, and walks on his knees. Keep checking out the posts. I'll let you know as soon as those first steps are walked!

Oh, he is a ham. I love the Panda kisses. And those two front teeth. He is so much like Riley. They could have an entertainment center party. Riley likes to get her hands on the remote control and bang it as hard as she can on the coffee table. We learned to love that rustic, dented, worn out look on the lovely oak furniture. :) I can't wait to get the two of them together.
