HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BECKHAM!

Has a whole year already passed? Our precious, little bambino has gotten so big right before our eyes!!! We've watched him go from sleeping to wiggling to rolling to crawling to practically walking. That is way too much action for one short, little year. We had a wonderful birthday party to mark the occasion. Beckham was surrounded by friends and family who couldn't have been more excited that he was turning 1! He even got a phone call from Pittsburgh for his Great Grandma Parker and others to sing "Happy Birthday" to him. We were so fortunate he stayed in good spirits, because even though we planned his party around naptime, Beckham REFUSED to take a nap! He had fun playing with all of his little friends in their costumes, then opening presents (of which there were WAY too many, might I add), and finishing things off with some delicious MELTED cupcakes. Yeah, I said melted. It wouldn't be a Missy-creation if it didn't go wrong the first time I tried to make it- just ask Scott. We had a beautiful slideshow of Beckham pictures playing in the background while he opened his presents, courtesy of yours truely. (Let me know if you want a copy.) He finished off the night playing with some of his new bath-time toys!
