Easter 2011 Part II

We took the boys to Snellville and spent the rest of Easter Sunday at el casa de Parker. Beckham and Brooks had more baskets waiting for them when we got there. After eating a few pieces of candy and passing out hugs and kisses. . .
we had an egg hunt!
Once Brooks had an egg in each hand and some candy in his mouth, he lost interest.
But Beckham kept hunting until all the eggs were found.
And the family stood by to cheer them on.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying each others' company. Scott opened birthday presents from the family. And Amanda made it in time for dinner. We dined on leg of lamb, a summer salad, corn on the cob, collard greens, german potato salad, and rolls. Everything was delish!

Before we headed home, we squeezed in a family photo session. Thanks, Sean!

In true Easter spirit. . .

P.S. Beckham goes to a Catholic preschool and proudly shared the following information with Scott when they were talking about Easter. And I quote, "The soldiers were playing a game and nailed Jesus to the cross!" Only a 3-year-old! What must he think?

I love your hair short! so cute!!
and just curious....was beckham's hair much lighter like brooks' is when he was younger?
it makes me excited to see what our next baby will look like....he/she could have hair/coloring like libbi or something COMPLETELY different! :)

Haha! It's actually not short, it's just pulled back :) But thanks! And no, Beckham was born with nearly black hair. He has Scott's coloring and Brooks has mine. I had very light hair as a munchkin. We used to joke around about how funny it would be if Brooks was born with light hair and light eyes since Beckham was so dark, and out he came- blond hair and blue eyes. Surreal!
