Is there anything like taking your kids to the beach in the summer? This was technically Brooks' first trip to the beach. We visited Lake Erie last summer, but I don't know if that really counts as "beach time". The boys were so excited about seeing the ocean!
Our first day on the beach was spent exploring the waves (where Nemo- our diving stick that Brooks takes everywhere- took a dive into the waves and didn't come back). We rode our boogie boards, made cool sand castles, chased the birds, and much more I'm sure.
And we had to be inappropriate and turn Brando into a hermaphrodite mermaid :)
The evenings were spent either zonked out in our condo or walking our dinner off on the beach...

This is just one of the many creatures we met while at the beach.
The week stayed interesting with some frisbee,
surfing (way to go, Amanda!),
and sleeping.
Sweet Brooksy fell asleep on the beach after lunch both Thursday and Friday. He was tuckered out!
