I think we picked the hottest day of the summer to take the kids to Disney World. We started off our morning with popsicles!
After riding the Buzz Lightyear ride, Brooks and I stood in line to get a pic with Buzz. Beckham wouldn't come within 10 feet of him!
We thought we had finally found a short line for the Dumbo ride, but we received a pager inside the big-top to buzz us when it was our turn to ride. In the meantime, our kids got to play in a madhouse.
Worst implemented plan ever!
After cooling off again with some lemon-ices, we took a train ride around the park.
We posed for a pic in front of the Magic Kingdom castle. We even caught part of a show. Unfortunately it was too hot to watch any parades, and the boys (and Mommy and Daddy) were too worn out to stay for any nighttime shows.
My cousin Molly is doing her summer internship with Disney, so she met up with us towards the end of the day. So great to see her!
One of the few rides we rode with the entire family (us, Uncle Bob, Aunt Amy, Aunt Nancy, Elizabeth, Brandon, and Molly)~ Jungle Cruise.
After a long day, we stood in one more line and met Mickey and Minnie! Beckham had to be coerced, but Brooks was passing out kisses :)
The kiddos fell asleep before we were even out of the parking lot! We stopped for dinner and Becks woke up, but Brooksy slept through the whole meal.
P.S. Beckham showed more enthusiasm over this pathetic "dragon" than he did all day at the park. Whatevs!
