Pittsburgh: part 2

Monday Dad and Aunt Nancy took us to Lake Erie for the day. On the way, we stopped at a little Amish store and bought the boys some phallic symbols to eat in the car.

We also got some Birch Beer- yum! Scott and Brando enjoyed snuggling in the back seat.
The first thing we did when we got to the lake was hit the water. It was super cold!! The boys had fun swimming. While Beckham wrapped up in a towel, Brooks went back in the water. He couldn't get enough of it.

Dad and Aunt Nancy had a nice time "soaking up the rays". I don't think we saw the sun the whole day. And our only reason for packing up to leave was the impending storm that was creating waves and strong winds.
Elizabeth and Brandon had fun digging holes, burying each other, and collecting rocks when they weren't swimming in the ice water.
This was Brooks' first time on a beach. Though the sand was rough and he was picking up rocks instead of sea shells, he had a great time!
. . .With the acception of me trying to get a picture of him walking in the water. "Let me in the lake, darn it!"
Brandon was sculpted with a nice pair of breasts and a lovely mermaid tail.
And the story of my life- juggling two kids.

Brooks actually laid down on the sand.
A Parker Family photo- typical! I can honestly say that I had a great time at Lake Erie! While the sun never showed its face and the water was like an ice bath, my babies had smiles from ear to ear the entire time we were there.
