Memorial Day was spent at Grandma and Pap-pap's celebrating Aunt Amanda's 28th birthday. Of course there was swimming. . .

And Mom went out of her way to make Amanda feel special. She had gold plates, napkins, candy, table cloth, presents, punch, etc. Pretty cool! For all of you noobs who didn't know, a golden birthday is that celebrated the year you turn the day of the month you were born~ Amanda turned 28 on May 28th.

After a delicious dinner of wings and hoagies, Amanda (and two little helpers) blew out the candles and enjoyed some sponge cake.
