St. Augustine Bound

My cousin Stewart and his beautiful bride Jamie got married in St. Augustine a couple weeks ago. My sister and mother and I made a girls' weekend of it. We rode down in Mom's convertible (until it started raining) and shacked up at the Casa Monica. We came down on Friday. . .

threw on our robes and went to the pool.
After a little relaxation under our cabana, we got dolled up and went in search of food. We finally decided on Columbia, a new Spanish restaurant. It was average to good. After dinner, we went back to the room and completed the girly bonding time with a chick flick. We DO NOT recommend seeing 'The Vow'. What a Debby-Downer!
Saturday morning Ben and Lisa flew in.
While Ben and Lisa went in search of food, we finished our lunch at O.C. White's (delicious) and strolled the streets of St. Augustine. We ended up touring an old boarding house that has been converted into a museum of the home. Really cool, actually!
Sunday was a day of rest. . . literally :) I spent the whole day by the pool soaking up what little bit of sun decided to join us for the weekend.
And of course there were vows to be said.
And 3 handsome cousins lined up.
Stewart, Stephen, and Doug
 The reception started with photos,

 photo bombs,
 serious photography,
 and some cousin love.
Jamie and Stewart were blessed not only by the rain holding out, but the beautiful double rainbow that stretched right over the wedding hall.

Monday we packed up the car, drove to the beach to say hi and bye, then jumped in the car Georgia bound.
I spent an absolutely lovely weekend with not only my mom and sister, but my brother, Lisa, Aunt Kathie, Uncle Pete, my cousins Doug, Stephen, and Stewart, and of course his bride Jamie.

Thank you, Scottie-Angel for being such a great husband and father. I appreciated the time away and I know the boys had a blast with all the adventures you had planned.
