We spent another lovely day at the Parker pool for Grandma Helen's 85th birthday. Scott and Sean went iceskating while the rest of us enjoyed more summer-like activities like swimming, laying out, and eating.

Grandma Helen threatened to come in the pool in her birthday suit, but decided it would be best to sit on the porch and read the paper :)
Once everyone was home (except for Dad, who had to go to work), Grandma Helen opened gifts. We relaxed for a little while while Mom slaved in the kitchen over a delicious cuisine of ham, German potatoes, and deviled eggs.
After dinner, we sang happy birthday and enjoyed some delicious homemade cherry pie. Yum!
"May you all reach the age of 85 !"
