As Promised. . .A Christmas Montage

Christmas Eve is our family day, spent doing family things. . . like making Gingerbread Trains

. . . that turn out EXACTLY like the picture on the box! Hahahaha!

Eating hoagies and wings

Skipping mass- because, who really wants to take a 3-year-old and a 9-month-old to church and sit for an hour BEFORE mass even starts just so we can get a seat where we can see and hear?? NOT US! Judge us if you must :) Instead, we opened our 'Night Before Christmas' presents: p.j.'s, ornaments, and a new Christmas book.

After bath time, the photo shoot began. Beckham cooperated. . .

Brooks, not so much!

Christmas morning began for me around 6am, when Brooks woke up and didn't want to go back to bed. Beckham woke up around 7:30 and so began the gift extravaganza!

Scott was so excited to get his 'Amazing Spiderman' guitar strap that Beckham picked out for him.

And after we opened everything under the Christmas tree, it was on to stockings. (I love that the stockings are almost as big as Beckham- haha!)

After we cleaned up the mess we packed up the car and drove to Snellville for the afternoon. Of course, we opened a whole 'nother batch of gifts when we got to Grandma and Pap pap's house.

Then the boys played some hockey in the basement. Watch out Sidney Crosby! We'll be breaking out an old dryer next!!

On Sunday Mom, Ben, and Lisa came up for dessert and a gift swap. We had coconut cream pie and Apple Cranberry Crisp with vanilla icecream and coffee. Yum!

Brooks slept through the whole thing :( But that's okay, 'cause we were able to break out the Rock Band and jam!

We had an absolutely WONDERFUL Christmas! We loved spending time with all of the family (minus Shanna and her family who were all the way in Idaho), we loved all the gifts, and we LOVE all of the noise that the overwhelming number of toys in our house now orchestrate ;0) Thanks to everyone for everything!
