God Bless Brooks

Brooks was baptized yesterday, December 5, 2010 in the Roman Catholic Church at St. Catherine of Siena. His godparents, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Rick, were unable to make it down from Maryland, so Grandma and Grandpap Parker stood in their places.
It was such a beautiful ceremony. We shared it with one other family. It was completely different having a nearly 9-month old baptized as opposed to our screaming 3-month old, Beckham!
He was all smiles. It helped that Scott kept a stash of Cheerios in his pocket- haha!

left to right: Ben, Lisa, Sean, Me holding Brooks, Scott, the Deacon, Brandon, Tim, Annelies, Mary Jo holding Beckham, Nico, Sofia, Shanna, Mom holding Ollie, and Jakob. Thank you, all of you, for helping make Brooks' baptism special!
We had the family over for food and visiting afterwards. The menu was delish- pepper-jelly cheese dip, chicken dip, Popeye's chicken, salad from Shanna's garden, potato salad, grape salad, berries, and cake. Yum!
